The idea of FASTview is to allow the user a simple interface to view various types of files without the continual necessity of selecting 'File Open' and then a file from the list presented. new file type: a Keep-It archive. Keep-It archives behave like folders. You can drag and drop (or
cut and paste) files and folders (items) into them. However, when you add items to an archive,
you in fact add a revision of the item. The archive can be updated with a single click, causing
any new revision of an already existing item to be added to the archive. Because archives are
part of the Explorer name space, you can browse these revisions, examine them, and restore
them using normal Explorer actions (such as drag-and-drop). Keep-It maintains hundreds of
revisions in a tiny amount of disk space. By only storing differences (and compressing these),
Keep-It provides an efficient online repository of all your work (past and present). Instead of
