Double Image is network backup software
that includes disk or CD copying of system files, hidden
files, and read-only files. A mirror image of files can be
created on the destination by using an option that
permits the deletion of files on the destination that do
not reside on the source. Double Image only writes new
and updated information during its copy process, but it
still leaves you with an exact duplicate of your disk files.
This speeds up WORM (write once, read many) backup
and CD copying. An activity log can also be created. An
option is available that permits the duplication of
removable media, using a single drive. Double Image
can be used for jukebox backup. This update features
enhanced speed and corrections to a number of minor
problems. |

System Snapshot performs two useful functions. First it simplifies the process of
backing up critical system files from your computer. When a PC crashes is it often not
necessary to format and/or restore your entire hard drive. Instead, by restoring the
Windows registry and other configuration files the system problems can be solved. System Snapshot also has the ability to restore configurations such as desktop icons, wallpapers, and start menu items every
time Windows is started. This is ideal if you have public computers where users are constantly changing configurations. If a user
