Description	Usenet News is a valuable source of information for all sorts of subjects and interests. However in some, more popular newsgroups the dayly amount of new messages can be staggering and scanning the list of article headers for subjects of interest can be time consuming. In an effort to automate part of this article scanning, I have written a news filter program. This program PROXY NEWS FILTER, scans the new article headers in the Newsgroups that you have selected, looking for specific key words. When it finds a matching article header, it extracts the article and sends it to your e-mail address.

Description	Picture Sucker(FREEWARE) and Picture Sucker Pro were developed for the internet surfer who is a collector of fine internet artwork. These products are 32 bit multi-threaded Winsock and WIN32 compatible applications which execute on both Windows 95 and Windows NT platforms. These programs connect to any NNTP compatible news server and will automatically download articles containing .JPG's, GIF's, AVI's, .ZIP's etc to your hard disk. The programs may be run minimized and will run concurrently while you are using your web browser, mail system, news readers or other internet applications. The user is able to configure the programs to select news articles for download using a variety of selection criteria. With over 29,000 news groups available and around 300 of them catering to the "visual crowd" you cannot afford to waste connect time with manually initiated downloads.
